When she learns that Great War veterans are planning to protest in Washington, D.C., she hits the Hobo Trail in search of the shell-shocked father she doesn’t remember. But powerful men, in the form of President Herbert Hoover, General Douglas MacArthur, and Major George S. Patton, threaten to come between Enid and her goal.
